Wow! Very harsh...but deserved by the perps.  Too bad the institution has to suffer so much. Where does the AD fit into this mess?

It appears the current AD inherited him and replaced Tyndall when he took the job at Tennessee. Did the AD not have even an inkling? Did he not feel a disturbance in the Force?

Good for Tennessee for firing Tyndall.  Of course, I'm sure the fact that he had a losing record made it a lot easier than if he would have taken them deep in the NCAA Tournament.

haha, sike. The NCAA is a joke. UNC is a basketball cash cow. If anything falls on them it will be a little hand tap. Even though Louisville self-sanctioned themselves (which is utter BS by the way), don't be surprised to see another little hand tap for them as well. Imagine as a child being able to set the parameters of your punishment with your parents. Or being able to set the disciplinary action for yourself at work. It's Louisville's golden ticket for not having the hammer dropped on them as they rightfully deserve.

I wonder what penalties the NCAA would drop on Mississippi if they had the same violations as Southern Mississippi...never mind, I don't have to wonder...
