It appears that Summitt's admonition to his team to "Take it to the hole!" was taken too seriously by at least one player.

The AD there should kind of be held responsible for some of this. Dude looks like a magoo anyway. World class pos.

Not sure where you wanted to go with this but since she's Tyler's mom that seems in pretty bad taste.

Also, it would be hard to fault the AD for hiring the son of the greatest women's college basketball coach.

La Tech wins a lot in football and basketball. At universities not named UNT, that is how you keep your job at AD.

That AD has zero job concerns.

Zero is probably a bit of a stretch, but from the few reports I've seen it looks like this improper relationship happened just this season. The AD got wind of it, investigated, and acted. It probably shouldn't be a major strike against the AD, especially if it's an isolated incident and not a part of a pattern of subordinate behavior.

If football and MBB keep winning in the meantime that should insulate the AD pretty well. Winning is the best job security and college sports.
