Thursday night football has been a thing for about ten years now, right?  Hasn't it been the realm of cable channel NFL Network the entire time?  Now it's going back to broadcast CBS and free streaming on Twitter?  Does that mean Monday Night Football will return to the unwashed cabless masses in the future again?

TNF has been on CBS for a few years now. They keep adding more games, because the ratings on NFLN are horrendous (compared with normal games) and CBS is willing to pay. Problem is that midway through the season, the games switch to NFLN and feature teams where not even their home cities want to watch.
