IRVING, Texas (March 7, 2016) – The National Football Foundation (NFF) Gridiron Club of Dallas Chapter announced today that newly named University of North Texas head football coach Seth Littrell will be the keynote speaker at the chapter’s Eighth Annual Awards Banquet Sunday, April 10, at 6 p.m. CT at the Dallas/Addison Marriott Quorum by the Galleria.

The event will honor the region’s top high school and collegiate scholar-athletes as well as several notable leaders from North Texas, including sports talk radio host Norm Hitzges who will be presented with the organization’s 2016 Distinguished Texan Award.

“We are thrilled to have Coach Littrell join us this year as our guest speaker,” said Gerald Brence, president of the NFF Gridiron Club of Dallas Chapter and athletics director for the Plano Independent School District. “A new college coach in the area always brings excitement, and we think his presence at the banquet will enhance an already fantastic evening.”
