This is backwards process no matter where it is.  But since the donors and administration stubbornly keep RV employed here I don't know what could have been done.  Could they they have given Chico a low cost 3 year contract and tied their fates together?  But at this point why should we care.  We know they did backwards at UNT so let us just hope they successful despite that.
