We were ranked really low in run defense last year anyway, so...bring on the replacements.  Nowhere to go but up, one way or the other.

the defense took a big hit last year because the offense could not give them any help.  spent way too much time on the field with bad field position.  The D actually play OK, except for Portland State....and they just quit on that game early.  If we get some offensive help in moving the ball, making the other team play defensively, I believe our D will hold-up OK.  Coach and putting people in the right position in huge at this level
