So the ladies have won double digit games now, 10-16 isn't awesome but things are moving in the right direction. And there is good reason to believe this team should be a good bit better next season seeing as a bunch of good players had to sit out this season.

By the way, that Oklahoma team UNT beat early in the season is still ranked. When is the last time UNT has beaten a team that was ranked at the end of the season?

I can tell you...it was great watching our only senior (Tac) who played all four years at UNT make that winning basket.  Her Mom and sister were sitting right behind us.  A proud moment for the family I am sure.  Tac played her heart out every game and stayed loyal to the Mean Green through those coaching changes.  It was great seeing her get that winning basket with .4 sec. to go!  Thank you young lady...you did good.

Jalie for co-coach (WBB and MBB)?

Lol if she could get our boys to play with as much effort and passion as she does the girls I would be in.  Only knock I have for Her is the need for a few more sets to get easy buckets.

Edit: don't want that to sound negative. She's got these girls playing extremely hard. I love how she has tailored to our strengths.

Next year should be better if for no other reason than having a deeper bench.  There are seven players with more than 500 minutes (> 20 min/gm) and four players who were regular starters with more than 700 minutes (> 28 min/gm). There were plenty of games where they just were worn out by the end.
