Why would you not stay with basketball? It's really easy to do. If anything it can be expanded into a tournament ad get UNT and local schools involved. You could even do it twice a year or a tournament style

1). You are simply nuts if you think this is easy.

2). You are even nuttier if you think I am going to turn this into a tournament

3). You are the nuttiest if you think I am going to do this twice a year.

4). I struggled mightily to get players this year...several regulars are not playing...some have dropped out...and I twisted lots of arms to get the players we have...not nearly enough for four teams.

Bottom line is...this is WORK...but it is enjoyable work...once a year....and the event itself is tons of fun. And, it helps a bunch of very hard working and well deserving student-athletes. That's why this happens each year...but, easy it is not!

I know. I know many people who didn't play because you got upset at the idea of moving the game to a better court. :/

idk how easy or difficult it is, but there was never an issue getting people together to play basketball. Golf had a high cost to do and it takes a lot more people to do something like soccer or softball. One ball one ref a gym with ten players and you can do basketball all day.

I am guessing the silent auction and concessions stuff is more difficult (time wise).

Yhe court doesn't effing matter...we are a bunch of hacks just having fun for a good cause...good lord...take it over from kram next year and run it your way...guarandamntee many of the regulars wont play. This is a fun, 2 hour event...not some damn fancy ass court needing, 3 point line demanding, tourney style shit...

I was trying to help earlier. It could equally be offensive to deny help. I enjoy the game and anything basketball. If I could I would play everyday like I use to but I'm too old now :(

I am not "great" but I enjoy playing basketball. I would not say I am a hack. I have fun anytime I am in a gym watching or playing.

I do not know all of their names. My boy Paul is playing this year and he is ok. He has height 6'4". He has been playing soccer because we coach the soccer team at our school. Good footwork but needs work in the post. Emmit can dribble and lower his shoulder and take it inside. A little loose, but he is ok. Another guy on my team last year could shoot. Dylan can at least dribble the ball well.

there were multiple players on NT90s team who were better than Emmitt last year.
