So, I will attach a story where students from a school in Dallas get harrassed at ATM during a tour. Look at the percentage of African American students on each campus. I would sell this all day everyday to the African American student athletes I recruited.

Look at that graphic and convince me that outside the athletic side of these universities, that an African American student body population exists.

Combine UT, ATM, and SMU and you equal UNTs percentage. Add UNT Dallas to that mix, and we are 6% behind all D1 schools combined who field football teams in the state.  Excludes southern and Prarie view A&m historically African American colleges. What do y'all think? Keep it civil!

Can't.  That's a separate campus in our University system.   That would be like the Longhorns trying to take credit for diversity at UTEP.

I think telling recruits something like this would never happen here is pretty much foolproof.

Except that it did, courtesy of the mooks of the old KA chapter.

Which to the point, this kind of thing is entirely unacceptable. It's like, "kick these guys in the neck" levels of unacceptable.

That was the point of my comment. No one finishes each other's sandwiches here anymore.

Our bread isn't as great as it once used to be.

It's great that our student diversity stats are better, though. It at least provides evidence of better A/A representation on campus.

Are you saying the cupboard is bare?

I was saying the pitch was our diversity not that it wouldn't happen that would be an asinine statement.

I use to live in El Paso and everyone said it was diverse. It's not. Everyone is hispanic or Mexican. There is little diversity at UTEP or El Paso.

Funny story, I was at a really crowded bar called Acietunas and a giant soldier who was black pointed at me and screamed. I thought, oh no, what did I do. He walked over and gave me a big hug and laughingly said it was nice to see a white face. Super nice guy and it was funny.
