Signing Day is the culmination of years of work and relationships, but for new head coaches, they only get a month or two to get that done — and sometimes even less. In some cases, a class is already close to full, but other times, there's a lot to do.

Here’s a look at the 28 new FBS head coaches and how much of their recruiting class committed after the new coach was hired. (Note: Ranking based on 247Sports)

I thought UTSA gets to sign 56 players a year?

It's true that there were three committed before Littrell signed but only Deion Griffin actually signed.  Middleton and Cokley did not sign although it's possible that Middleton might some time later.  

So, if we had 19 signees then I believe that 18 of them came from Littrell and/or his staff.  That would put North Texas above 90% and in second place (not that it matters).
