Man could we use Bain.   It's really strange that there is no recent info on him at all.    Did we ever even offer this guy ?   I know that he was LSU bound for a long time.

Akron came in with late pressure, still hasn't signed.  Four star, scout had him ranked as the #43 recruit in the nation.  Would be the highest ranked guy since at least coming back to the top division.

It's all been conjecture because he was no longer committed to UAB and we just hired his DL coach at Pearl City CC. Would propel us from 11th in C-USA to 8th right now if we signed him.

maybe, the surprise announcement is at the signing day event?

Maybe it is the fact that his choice of headgear is illegal and we (UNT) didn't want to take on the threat of a concussion or two.  Just a thought.
