Why haven't we slung a few offers to the G-town boys? 

Jacoby Williams and Coree Compton both well over the small undersized category. I'll link hudl in a second

Coree the WR, had 1700 rec yards, and 22 TDs in 2 seasons, can high jump 6'8" and ran a 39.8 in 300 hurdles... Oh he's 6'3 185 too.

No idea.... The QB reminds me a bit of Demarcus, less of the canon but the wheels are there.

Something is going on with Coree as far as interest from a D1 program. Coree committed to FCS Central Arkansas on Jan 17 and decommitted on the 26th.

Williams is not rated and does not show any interest from any schools.  Something is going on here.  Are grades an issue?  Still doesn't explain his lack of a rating from the recruiting sites.

      What to expect from Odom?

      I just looked up his coaching history. As a DC, he’s only been a DC as an interim. He did it as Missouri and at USC. Both were for 3 games. This would be his 3rd stint as interim DC. Not sure what defense he runs.

      What to expect from Odom?

      I would suspect that we've seen the end of the 3-3-5. My guess is that he will go back to the 3-4 we ran through the middle of the season. We have run some 4-2-5 in obvious passing situations. If he is a 4-man front guy, he could use that as a base. I don't really think he will do that. We have to do something to fill more gaps and get a pass rush. You can do either with the fronts we currently have, but in the 3-4 you have to be willing to shade the nose. Caponi absolutely would not do that. We NEVER slid the front or moved the nose off of a zero shade. Brown can be a much bigger factor than he has been. So can our DT's. I just hope we put our kids in a situation where they have a chance. Filling gaps on the LOS from the third level is a good way to give up 500 yards a game. Hopefully we never see that again.

      Usually you’ll have one game during the week and one during the weekend. It’s just how college basketball does things. Our home non-con is atrocious (both teams and dates) but there are some good weekend games in conference.
