No, 66 has posted exactly these things. I guess you don't care about his inconsistencies because you are of a similar political ilk.

But whatevs, people can read. At least some people...

I'm not defending or supporting anyone...of a like ilk or not. I don't care about his inconsistencies not because of politics, but because simply I don't care...I don't know him and his awkward starts and stops and use of the ellipsis that puts mine to shame makes him damn near illegible to the point that I don't often try and make head or tail of his posts.

here is the long and short of the conversation:

- Army of Dad said 66 doesn't support the 2nd amendment. I thought that a weird statement.
- I said that I seemed to recall at some point 66 claiming he owned guns...and if that is the case and he does so legally then that right there is showing support of the 2nd amendment.
- Army of Dad said that even if he owns guns he doesn't support the 2nd amendment
- I thought that an even weirder statement.

that was it. that was the conversation until you came in, quoted my statement regarding the 2nd amendment that in no way mentioned 66 and began, seemingly, replying directly to 66.

you then went to your usual well of only arguing through a political spectrum and accuse me of insult while there are pages of you calling another poster an idiot just a click away.

so...perhaps "drunk" was merely my giving you the benefit of the doubt

Magically on the same issue you really don't care about, eh? Assuming you know how any shooting went down with zero facts is idiotic. That is a fact. And that's what happened in that "other thread."

And when people are trolling, calling their posts idiotic is pretty fair game.

And now you distancing from 66 posts that you were defending? Hmmm.

As strangely as it may sound, simply owning a firearm does not make one Pro 2nd Amendment. I know a few cops who are actually not fond of firearms, and one, now former cop, who said he hopes guns are outlawed.  And the asshole ex cop that went on the murder spree in California actually stated in his manifesto that he hoped Obama would take everyone's guns.

So, strange as it may seem, simply owning a gun doesn't make you pro gun.

If one lives in a rural area, a person needs to own a gun.... rattlesnakes, feral hogs, skunks, etc.  Also a good idea for self protection to have one in a home especially a rural one.  .... but I don't see a need to carry one into Burger King, stores, or even college classrooms ... locked in a car on campus ... no problem.   What is wrong with these guys that carry an AR-15 etc into stores.... this is not Somalia .... some have. Some people have no business carrying one around .. Too many careless people... includes the cop in my former hometown  that shot himself in the foot and the one in a classroom demonstration on career day that let one go off (fortunately hitting no-one).    Supporting the 2nd amendment does not mean supporting everyone carrying one around everywhere.

How about you not try to dictate why and which law abiding citizens should own guns. That's what liberal democrats do, but you knew that.

Seriously?  Another negative comment about police worked into your post?

He is an ultra liberal card carrying member of the NEA. Why would you expect anything different? I bet he has zero problems with 13 and 14 year olds sharing bathrooms, also.
