Coach Ford is a good man who was just not prepared to be a defensive coach at the college level when he came to North Texas.   I wish him nothing but the best for his future.

And he moved the ball quite a bit.  But was lost when the field shrank in the red zone & couldn't get the ball in.

Good luck at Lovejoy.  If he liked it at Southlake Carroll, he's going to love Lovejoy.  $$$$$

And?

Lovejoy has a solid history of Texas high school playoff appearances.  IMHO, it would be a good school to have a pipeline to.  Hopefully Todd Ford and his brief history with UNT was a positive one for him and he'll keep UNT in mind when providing guidance to his players.

Then again, maybe he peed on the side of Fouts and flipped the albino squirrel the bird on his way out of town when he was replaced by Chico.   I dunno.

Lovejoy has only been around since the late 2000's.  They are in the playoffs alot since starting, but I don't know that I would say they have a "solid history".

So does playoff history in the 1900's really mean much to recruiting today?  I think you're missing the point.

Before Lovejoy High School opened, the Lovejoy ISD kids went to Allen High School when they reached high school.   I guess we could refer to Allen's history if you want to go back further.
