Drove by it today...didn't have time to stop, but definitely will.  Now that Taps and Capps and the Bearded Monk are both open, I have a couple of great places to fill my growler...and Taps and Caps has a pizza place right next door.  Way cool.

The owners are really, really good guys.  They run Lone Star Beverages in Carrollton, and the first location of Taps and Caps in The Colony (technically Lewisville).  They are some of the most passionate guys around when it comes to finding good beer, and if you become a regular, they will steer you to some ruh-heally good stuff (in their bottle store).  They learn your name, and point you to newly arrived product that they know you'll like.

Only thing missing is that this past year, TABC made them stop selling crowlers, which were the greatest take home beverage invention since the pop top can.  Wait.  They WERE the pop top can!  Dammit TABC!

Selling growlers at the Denton location I do believe...according to Thor.  I'll be heading down soon with my growler...hopefully.

With crowlers, you could buy several beers in one trip and not feel obligated to pound them all down within the next twelve hours.  They were wonderful.

Never heard that word before.  Thanks...learning something new every day.  Now I understand why they may have been shut out of that "Crowley" thing...pesky liquor laws ruining people's fun.  Bummer!

That Dawn of the Dank is pretty dang good, best to make sure you're where you want to be if you drink a whole growler of that stuff though!
