Wow.  What a great post.

Where does a young athlete want to perform ?  In front of their friends and family of course.   Many want to show their talent on a big stage and possibly garner the attention playing at a large program will give them.  But most want to paly their favorite game, hopefully, get a college  education as well and play in front of the family and the girl friend and the ex-girl friend and maybe their old coach.  Playing for a university in the area does all these things.

UNTWILLWIN points these things out with a perspective most on this board lack.  Thanks.

Agree

1. Family Travel will cost less to attend games

2. Great University

3. You're close to Dallas and Fort Worth for more entertainment as well!

As a letterman and former player with no current role can he do more than an employee? Especially in regards to social media?

Part of it, for me, is that it's not his responsibility, yet he continues to do so.

Maybe if he were compensated for it as a staff member, he can dedicate and focus even more time doing it.

Unless this question was more of a recruiting question. In that case *shrug meme*

Edit: The department's social media game is weak, and the creation of the UNTouchable account, as normal as it would be in a "big school", was such a shocker for us. It needs someone to spark it up.

Didn't help McCaffrey until his bowl game.

Yep, But at that point it was too little, too late. There is such a huge east coast/south bias to college football. He, in my mind, was hands down the best player in the country and in my opinion will go down as a Heisman snub.
