Improving HS coaches relations

But no matter, I'll continue this message for new posters who may not be aware of the main reason UNT athletics sucks balls, a terrible AD left in place by an administration that has clearly demonstrated they don't care about athletic success.

The culture of losing and not caring permeates through every aspect of this AD and trickles down to individual programs (and the argument could be made to many in the fan base). That's why you don't contain it to one thread, because it's topical in the football and basketball forums, and in both recruiting forums where appropriate. 

And of course this isn't the thread or threads I am talking about. Board members know.

I'm sure it won't be your last attack. 

I don't know if @UNTLifer has "never" tried to pull @UNT90 into a thread, but he certainly didn't pull him in on this particular thread.

@UNT90 does inject himself into a lot of thread he sees a possible opportunity to bring up RV and so it's pretty easy for people to talk about or interact with him.

You don't have to engage. Let the accurate comment about RV sit without responding. Instead, you want to talk about my negativity and "hate" instead of the person responsible for the miserableness of being a Mean Green fan...

I guess that phrase "kill the messenger" exists for a reason.

I emailed Rick V copying the president with the link. I have a feeling this may have fell on deaf ears, but I had to let them know what y'all had to say and how coaches felt.

An email to Head Coach/AD by default Littrell may have been the better path.

I don't want to put you on ignore, because I like it when you're funny, informative, and snarky about a new topic.  Even if you feel like someone is trying to pull you into discussing RV doesn't mean you have to actually do it.  And much like some others here, even though I like Rick, I agree that if he stays it should be in a different capacity because it seems like the stuff we need done now isn't part of his skills set.  

 

So pretty much everyone agrees with you, at least partially.  It's just really gotten redundant.  Maybe you could just boil it all down to something simple, like the new hashtag #retiredonduty or something, and after talking about everything else, just say, "Oh yeah, and...#retiredonduty."  Because really, every point that could be made, you've already made them like a hundred times each, and even when people don't agree with you, they agree that you have good points.  It's just a pain to have to skim everything to see if you're saying anything new or not.  

 

And you don't have to respond every time somebody trolls you.  You're much more interesting to read the rest of the time, even when you're trying to be annoying.  Actually, sometimes, that's when you're at your funniest.

RV is the worst AD in America. We just finished having the worst football team in our school's history and in the entire FBS this past season. That's not even counting where our basketball programs have been recently and are right now under his management.

And he'll be here until he decides to leave, does something against the law, passes away, aliens abduct him, etc....
