If Marshall was involved and didn't help he's just as guilty. Player or not, screw him. That's bad as citizens of Denton, we should ask more of these young men. Not good at all.

Now hold on a moment. Apparently Marshall was drunk, and the not the driver. While it is illegal to drive while under the influence, it is not illegal to be a passenger while under the influence. What is it exactly you want him to do except get someone else to drive (of course he should have chosen a different driver there for more than one reason it seems)? I doubt he exactly had a choice in leaving the scene once the crash happened though, after all he couldn't just tap the breaks. You want him to take the wheel by force? That could go super wrong. Yes he appears to have made some errors and bad decisions on this one like not calling 911 -most of which might have to do with being drunk and feeling overprotective of his friend and teammate, which is likely to come back and haunt them both. But it might also be understandable in a panic situation. But at the end of the day operating the vehicle is the drivers responsibility in which the guy in the backrow can't (and shouldn't) interfere. Marshall should get something, but I don't think they need to send him to prison for that one.
