Zach Orr was 6' and 225 lbs. coming out of high school.  This young man is listed at 6'and 215 lbs.  Good film, so let's see how he develops.

His 247 shows 5'11 I really dont care much about that as I do him making plays plugging gaps and flying to the ball.  He is a SR so he won't develop anymore unless he choses Alcorn which is his only reported offer so far.  His first play on film was a for sure Eye grabber.

If he really has 4.5 speed, then he could lay some wood at SS without having to add weight.

Speed is one point, but hips, start stop, one step plants etc have much more to do with success at safety than outright speed.

What do you mean he won't develop anymore?

Been quiet today on the recruiting trail. Anyone heard any news?

Fridays are traditionally quiet as you have kids coming in for weekend visits.  Saturdays are dead and Sunday night is when things really pick up.  I would be shocked if we didn't land commitments by Sunday (if not sooner).  Then again, Littrell may be employing the stealth mode.

Learn something new every day. Thanks Harry!

Just meant unless he walks on somewhere or chooses Alcorn he will be done playing football thus no more developing. Not that I mean his talent level is maxed.
