With about 17-18 spots left, that's up to 6 commits a week if we want a full class. Should be fun from here on out

Can't we pocket up to 3 scholarships to use for next year's class?   So, we could sign only 22 guys for this class, and then sign up to 28 in 2017.  Right?

To my knowledge you can back count up to 25 spots, but of course that would be if you signed 0 kids the class before. However many we're short we'll get that many next class. At least I thought. Certainly seen teams do more than 3, that's just the number I use in examples.
