To clarify, he has been accepted to UNT, it does not say he has accepted a scholarship offer.

He may be a scholarship recruit, and he may be a regular student that plans to walk on at UNT. He's got a large frame, and at only 17 so he may still be growing.

Now if he gets an academic scholarship, that pays for classes, he would have to pay for sport side as well? Hopefully that makes sense

Not really, and I've been having conversations with bankers, land surveyors, and engineers lately.

Looks like he has a lot better wheels on him than a typical guard.  He could be very useful by the time he is a junior if he works hard and is able to put on another 30 pounds of good weight.  Man, we have signed some very intriguing PWOs.

Not in English.  But I think I know what you're trying to say.  Any scholarship that a football player receives is counted as a football scholarship.  Otherwise, schools would be loading up their rosters with top recruits on "academic scholarships."
