I think Benford has a valid complaint, and the UTEP coach is obviously lying.   I am not a Benford protector, but it was a bright move on his part.   It just might help in future games when teams try to get Combs off the court.

I agree, it is a smart move for future games and anyone with common sense knows he is right.

But to some degree that don't change the fact that this comes across as whining. Ideally this would only have gotten public after the league has a verdict.

The fact that posters use Benford submitting a complaint to the league on fouls and poor free throw shooting to discredit his coaching ability is ridiculous. 

Not a Benford "extension promoter" but get a grip. Coaches submit tape/complaints all the time and coaching has zero to do with a players ability to knock down a free throw.

If you want to slam him fine, but get a little more creative than that.

They can submit tape all they want, but to suggest that this is some type of unfair advantage is a bad look.  I never suggested that it has to do with his coaching ability. I simply stated it was a sorry excuse for a sorry coach.  Nothing more, nothing less.
