I know very little about these 2 players.  Is it possible that English was offered and Kincade was not ?

Yes, and I'm beginning to think that may be the case. I think Littrell is no longer following Kincade. I've said it before, but the fact that Kincade would have to sit out a year then only have one season of eligibility left hurts his attractiveness to coaches.

I just thought it would work out with a year of Morris followed by a year of Kincade while you develop a 2016 QB those two years.

Just checked and Littrell is still following him.  Now, Harrell is not and he has changed his account to UNT things. So who knows.

Sucks to admit but this is probably the case here.  I hope wherever he winds up that he finds a spot to play and shine.

I still think it's jumping to conclusions to think we are no longer interested. He might not be anymore, but we will find out. If it's us who walked away I think it would only have to do with recrutting a '16 QB with the promise of playing time and no real competitor on the roster. It's all conjecture at this point.

Isn't he a graduate transfer with one year left like Morris? I definitely wouldn't mind having both but wonder if they would both go for it if reports on Morris are true.

Webb is a graduate transfer

Webb wouldn't affect Kincade in 2017. So unless it's for a qb with multiple years left, or a a highly regarded HS recruit we are promising 2017 playing time to, I don't see why we wouldn't be interested in Kincade.

If, and that's a big IF, things cooled from our end of the relationship, we'd better have a VERY good option in mind.  If there is anything we've learned at this school in recent years it is that you cannot have too many QB options on the roster.

That's what I've always thought -  1 year to sit, 1 year to play was not a great fit.  However, I'd love to have him here just to up the competition level in practice.

Could there be another transfer QB that Litrell favored over Kincade?

Or a recruit that will be ready sooner rather than later.

That would be something. I don't think we've ever had such a highly rated qb recruited here.

The more I think about the Nathan Elliot from UNC idea, the more I think it wouldn't happen. I don't see Littrell jeopardizing his relationship with Fedora that way. Now if Fedora knows that they are well stocked at qb and won't be needing the son of Awesome Bill from Celinaville, then I'm all for getting him here.
