North Texas student shot and killed

NT lost a 20 year old in the early hours of 2016. Sounds to me like a road rage incident. Sara was the designated driver for 3 friends and after some exchanged words was shot by someone in a black SUV containing 5 or 6 men. The newspaper says the shooting occurred in the 1700 block of N. Elm. At about 2:00 am.

My Dad told me and I told my sons; "Nothing good happens after midnight."

I'm sorry for Sara and her family.

I would really like to know what words were exchanged to inspire such a selfless and tragic event. Too many bad things are happening in Denton as of late. I didn't know Sara personally but I take the death of any UNT student to heart.

We can only hope that the killer(s) are caught and ultimately executed by the States of Texas.

I heard today (Tuesday 1-5) that a man has been arrested in Yuma Arizona in connection with the murder of a North Texas student in the early hours of New Year's day.
