Walk on/ a&m transfer?

So my buddy was at Starbucks today and ran into a 6-9 guy who left the Texas A&M and intends to walk in to the team in hopes of getting a scholership during the spring tryouts . He doesn't remember his name, but does anyone else have any more information on this?

Tyler Davis, Dj Hogg, and Elijah Thomas all are around that size I don't see any needing to walk on here. They'd be scholarship transfers. Elijah is leaving and rumors are he and Grandstaff (Ohio state) want to play together. I would guess they end up at SMU.

My buddy said he looks around 6-9, he is white with a Texas accent. Blonde-ish hair with blue eyes. Maybe he was also a walk-on for the Aggies? I am unsure. He my be an unlisted walk-on so they can preserve his eligibility for a full four years. (Something I didn't know happens until recently).

Then how can he remember where  he went to college?

Makes me doubt he even remembers if he actually plays basketball or not.

My buddy couldn't remember the guy's name haha.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw some tall guy out at Starbucks last night. She said there's a possible rumor that he might walk on at North Texas so I guess it's pretty serious.
