I picked the devil to win.  The first time I think I ever had a need to root for them, and they let me down.  It's in their nature.  Dirty bastards.

Same here.  Got to be the first time I ever rooted for OU. The Big 12 was a four team league this year.  Baylor won, OU lost and TCU will probably lose given their QB situation.  Outside of OSU, no other Big 12 schools should win except maybe WVa.  One thing I don't understand about the bowl matchups is that it seems like the SEC gets an inordinate amount of games against the AAC and the weak sisters of the ACC.  That's my perception which could be wrong since I haven't really bothered to actually study the bowl matchups.

AAC had 1 match up with the SEC in Memphis vs Auburn.

Sec still wear big boy pants and big 12 is still a pretty team league.  Not even northwestern could hold Tennessee under 40.

I don't think OSU makes it past Ole Miss.

Sadly, I picked the wrong team for both semifinals and also chose NW over Tennessee, so I'm about done in the Bowl Pick 'Em.

Florida lost their one legit QB during the season.

Yes, and since their offensive efficiency tanked. Florida won the East by beating their difficult conference opponents through the first 6-7 games of the season. Then with a slot receiver playing QB struggled to put away teams like Vanderbilt, South Carolina, and FAU.  It just continues to show that the QB position should always be the number one priority for any team. Florida has World class athletes on defense, but if their offense can't put points on the board it's not going to matter how many NFL defensive linemen they have. Sames goes for North Texas. Everyone worries about the defense and rightfully so, but if we don't get a QB on here that can put points on the board it will be all for nothing regardless of the defensive personnel. I have been watching this struggle at Florida since Tim Tebow and that is a huge reason why I am a big believer in having a decent QB will take pressure off of every single personnel grouping on the team.
