Navy is so impressive.  Can you imagine Navy's offense going up against our 2015 defense?  Green carnage.

Maybe so, but Navy seems to run it pretty well.  In this case it is called designing an offense that works for your team.  Generally, service academy athletes are not the biggest or fastest of D-1 athletes as the admission and entrance requirements are rather still and even athletes must adhere to standards expected by all cadets and midshipmen.  Tough to handle the regiment duties, classroom duties and athletic duties.  Takes a special young man or woman.  Navy's coach has figured out how to minimize the size and speed differences to a good extend.  "Old and lame" it may be, but the Midshipmen created a pretty darn good season and a bowl win utilizing that "old and lame" system.  Seems to have worked pretty well for Navy over the last several years.

It always does. And I was being very sarcastic. I was advocating for the trip option before the Littrell hire. We have a similar problem that Navy/Air Force/Army. They have to recruit who they can get because of their standards and we just can't recruit in general.

Sounds a lot like the challenges UNT faces...

And I know some on here would get tired of watching a running game generate 38 points. Hell, they got tired of watching Georgia Southern generate 58 points.

I guess some people just find scoring touchdowns and winning football games boring...
