So far our brethren are 1-0 thanks to the LA Tech win over Arky State in the New Orleans Bowl.  Remaining CUSA bowl games are:

WKU vs USF today in the Miami Beach Bowl

MTSU vs W Michigan Thursday in the Bahamas Bowl

Marshall vs UConn Saturday in the St. Petersburg Bowl

Southern Miss vs Washington Saturday in the HoD Bowl

We did kinda get screwed on that, but then again, we won the game.  If they'd thrown some P5 at us, who knows what the outcome would've been.  I enjoyed watching us walk away with a sound victory.

A few say he was  confused by speaking in a football stadium for the first time...reverb and all that. Most think he did a little too much early celebrating.

I was down on the field for this.  There was a significant delay between when something was said in the mic and when it came out of the speakers.  Sounds weird, but it's tricky to speak with that distraction.  Funny stuff.

When speaking (or singing) on a large field, you often hear yourself in the speakers with a one second delay. If you aren't expecting it or don't know how to handle it mentally, you slow your speech down to let the sound catch up. Of course, the sound never will catch up. 

Back in the olden days at KNTU when we used analog tape decks, we would patch the DJs headphones into the playback head of a tape deck and hit record on his voice. It would delay his voice right at half a second which made them do the same thing.

Yeah, they featured this on the Ticket once. There are a lot of examples of it and it is what people stated before about the reverb in the stadium and not being able to hear yourself speak. 

ETA: Just noticed the video is the feature they did on the Ticket, so there ya go.

Western Kentucky as CUSA Champion should have gotten shot a P5 conference school in their bowl game.  Just another indication that there are just way too many bowls.   The top G5 Conference Champions should get a P5 Conference Division winner or first runner up at the very least.  P5 schools and the bowl organizers are just getting way too greedy now.

Probably won't happen, but C-USA has a very good chance at going 5-0 in bowl games. Would be great for the conference. Especially, the two wins against the AAC.

Them MUTS choke too! Tied up at 31 with WMU with less than 10 minutes left. SHOULD be 38 - 31...but they choked in the first half on four shots inside the 10 yard line. This could be a good finish.
