Wasn't CUSA a decent BB conference at one time? I'm just shaking my head at how low we are in the RPI rankings. And we still haven't beaten  D1 team.  RV, you reading this?

With how bad we are we are still not as bad as many teams in our conference. CUSA is weak this year. We could still very possibly be a middle of the pack team, and we are awful.

We are no worse than the Florida schools, Rice, Marshall, UTSA, or Southern Miss. We will still end up being s 8 or 9 seed. We are not good, but nor are many of our conference mates. It would probably help if you watched their games. You can google and watch replays. 

 

We we may still loose to some of these schools and somehow upset someone like Charlotte,WKU, or Old Dominion.

That conference is known as The American Athletic now.

That would require us to actually win games.  Outside of the two we got against NAIA competition, this team hasn't been in many of the games it has played.

At this point, if going winless means that Tony Benford is jobless, then that will be the biggest win in 4 seasons...

You may be right... it is a bad BB conference this year.  But, I am not very optimistic to be middle of the pack when we have lost to who we lost to so far this year.  

 

BTW, It should be a rule that we can not count NAIA schools in anyone's Div. 1 record. 

 

I am just thankful that we have an Athletic Department that is doing everything possible to ensure we have a great BB program.  We aren't doing poorly because of them... we are doing poorly because of us. UNT fans suck!
