i wonder how these with change with Littrell? Many schools bust out all the Unis, take pictures of the kids IN them. Get pictures of the kids with a back drop (green) so they can edit them and send them at a later date reminding them how much they fit at said University.  I'm excited what does anyone else think? Remember you MUST think like a HS student.

It's good to laugh a little and all that, but recruiting violation jokes are not funny.

 No one said they are funny. It is the truth. And the truth must always have a light shined on it. Though the times of the NCAA giving a damn are long over. Take North Carolina basketball for example...nada. The Miami fiasco...nada. 5-6-7-8-9-10-etc players come out of the woodwork to throw their own alma mater and administration under the bus almost on an annual basis. But the NCAA doesn't care. There is no regulation anymore except for regulating money by the NCAA. They are going to protect their money makers to the end of time from about 6 or 7 years ago to forever. Too much money involved for the elites to have the hammer dropped on them. The ONLY reason action was taken at Penn State was because of the nature of the incident. But even then the NCAA lightened that hammer by over half after what? 12-18 months? This is a good time for Fly to chime in with his "#itsallajoke."

I semi agree with Ben, only because look what happened to SMU. Post season ban and coach suspended _____ games? Hmmm UNC had players in fake classes getting fake grades and nothing yet. Seems swift for little boy SMU ( not that I'm complaining ) and dragging of the feet for big boy.

biggest change is that our offense will actually fit into the style of TEXAS football now a days.  so these kids can actually get excited about throwing the ball.

so i told my wife a little bit about the new coach and explained to her that this new coach throws the ball much more than the old one.  She got excited and said she might go watch more games now because the other coach was boring.

I said the same thing, and my wife immediately mentioned that Dodge threw the ball around alot too.  Then she asked who's going to be "the defensive guy"?

I told my wife about Littrell and then she asked if she could come out of the box now and I said nope and fed her dinner to the dog. #happywifehappylife

      Of course he's open to HS players in future cycles. Pitino knows things change on a yearly basis. It's just disingenuous of you to say "Auburn is No 1 and recruits HS kids" when their number 1 ranking has very little to do with recruiting HS kids. When I look at the top teams in the country, most are led by at least one transfer. Duke is an exception but they have the number 1 prospect in the country. If you want to argue that in theory a team led by mostly guys recruited from HS could be number 1 in the country then sure. Duke could win it all this year with the number 1 NBA prospect. For everybody else who isn't getting the top NBA prospect out of HS, all data points to the transfer portal as being the best way to build a team.

      Thinking about the Super Pit....

      Seats aren’t going to be removed because the university needs it for graduation and they own the bldg. The east side entrance mall needs to be “dressed up” with string lights, lights in trees, vendors, food, music, refreshments, etc. on game days. The concourse needs to be livened up. Pop up bars, store similar to the one at DATCU that can be accessed from inside the SP and outside, information on the MGSF, music, monitors showing the game when in line for concessions, more efficient concessions, etc.

      And they aren't ruling out HS studs to fill some of those future voids. https://www.espn.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/252088/sebastian-williams-adams I'm not saying the current climate doesn't favor transfers - it does. I just believe you look everywhere for the players that best serve your purpose. If there's a guy out there coming out of HS that fits a need perfectly, sign him. And our stud transfers are leaving, too, if not graduating. So, either way, you're getting 1-2 years of contribution. majority college coaches are still recruiting HS players. Even the Pitino stuff doesn't read like he's completely closed the door. Lots of "this cycle" and "this year" when looking at the entirety of those articles/quotes, like he's potentially open to HS players in future cycles.
