Understood, but dang! We don't even have 2016 ready yet!

Get used to modern-day recruiting out of our staff haha.

Part of the reason we probably offered him before a 2016 guy is because this kid will be one of the 2017 QBs we go after, and we could offer quite a few. We probably won't offer more than 3 total 2016 QBs at this point, and we'll go after all 1-3 of them very hard.

See Joseph Putu.

Not a bad example, but that all happened after Putu's season ended.

The tough situation where you can get burned is getting a commit and shutting down recruiting at that position (like QB) but then knowing that player still has his whole senior season for bigger programs to come around on him. If we could lock up a Blosser commitment at some point it would be really nice if we could get him to enroll early.

Saw that he retweeted Coach Nate Brown's tweet about Eric Jenkins winning player of the week so would seem that he is still interested. Seems a lot like Augie's situation from last year where it's a consensus highly rated recruit from all services yet not a lot of action for some reason. Would love if we could add this kid though. Especially since we have a lot of room with low scholarship players right now I say add as much talent to the quarterback room as possible and let it work itself out. Especially with the recent history of UNT QBs and looking at teams like the Cowboys when the starter goes down, you can never have enough talented QBs. Could potentially have a QB room with Fine, Isadore, Pearson, Blosser, and Debiase if reports are true. And of those Isadore and Debiase might be PWOs since we haven't heard anything from the coaching staff. Either way if it played out like that there would be 3 3*s, an underrated 2*, and our current starter who looks like he has the potential to be our QB of the future! Talk about a change of the tides! Whatever happens it'll be fun to watch the QB situation play out the next couple of years.

Totally agree, would love to keep adding more talent to the QB Pool... My only worry is, if we have a lot of depth, would it or could it scare off potentially kids in the future?

Anyone know if we're still pursuing him. QB is def. one of the positions we need more depth at and he looks solid at the position. JayD?

We have Fine, Pearson, Isadore, Shanbour, Cason and O'Hara. Do we really need more?

O'Hara is going to be a senior next year, Isadore only has 2 years, Shanbour is going to be a RS senior. That means we only have 3 QBs with more than 2 years left. Plus then we can maybe RS him
