Currently the OL coach and co offensive coordinator at Troy.  Had a good run at La. Tech before that under Holtz. Key to all this is he coached the OL at Tech while Littrell was running backs coach there and they had good teams.  Would he leave Troy to rejoin Littrell?  Does Littrell want to bring in a guy who isn't from and hasn't been recruiting Texas lately? Interesting.

Moore’s offensive lines at Texas Tech led the country in fewest sacks per pass attempt in 2007 and 2008. The Red Raiders allowed a sack once every 54 pass attempts in 2008 behind an offensive line that featured three All-Americans in Rylan Reed, Brandon Carter and Louis Vasquez. His 2007 unit allowed a sack once every 44 attempts.

Texas Tech won the NCAA passing title in 2007 as the Red Raiders averaged 470.3 yards per game through the air, while quarterback Graham Harrell led the nation in passing and won the Sammy Baugh Award as the country’s top quarterback.

Behind Moore’s offensive line, Texas Tech finished with 28 rushing touchdowns in 2008, which was the second-most in school history. The Red Raiders picked up another NCAA passing title that season as Harrell led an offense that accumulated 413.2 yards per game through the air. Harrell went on to win the Unitas Award and was fourth in Heisman voting at season’s end.

Texas Tech averaged over eight wins per season during Moore’s tenure and the Red Raiders played in four bowl games. Texas Tech won three of those bowl games – the 2008 Gator Bowl, 2010 Alamo Bowl and the 2011 TicketCity Bowl – with the lone loss coming in the Cotton Bowl during its 11-2 season in 2008.

He and Littrell were at Tech at different times.  He was under Tuberville, Littrell was under Leach.

“We had some issues with inexperience and just not being very good last year,” Seth (Littrell) said. “In the offseason I got with our offensive line coach (Matt Moore) and went over when things like what schemes versus which fronts and got everything on the same page. We were young last year and that showed too.
