I agree that it's good in terms of teams we'll get to see at home, but it's not good in terms of wins.  This puts a major dent in my hopes for bowl eligibility next year.  It was probably a long shot anyway, but this makes it very, very tough.

My thoughts exactly.  Great slew of known opponents, but I hope Seth gets this team in top shape ASAP if we're going to keep our home record at Apogee respectable...especially after how awful this year was.

We had WKU at Apogee this year.  We're gonna have to fly out there next year.   Thankfully, Doughty will be gone.  We'll see if they can keep up the pace without him.

Playing the same teams in cross over games is what conferences with two division do unless there is a shake up in membership or in CUSA's case addition teams now playing football within the conference. 

 

I would like to fix the all Texas teams either at home or away. But to make the fix, someone has to give up a home conference game one year. It might not be us, but we are the one's who are complaining and probably will be the one's who need to contribute to fix the problem. Avoiding a five game season while giving up a home conference game means bringing in a one and done opponent - probably a FCS team. While I'm willing to accept that, many would then complain about the terrible scheduling!

Nine, maybe eight when you factor in El Paso, true in-state travel for games... perhaps apply some of those M&O savings into new uniforms??
