After watching the interview and reading the justification and after having to reclaim a Twitter account at work lately I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for a bit on this.

Good to hear. I remember when UH hired Tom Herman, he was immediately blazing on the recruiting trail. That impressed me.

the only difference is levine had a class started. Mac left littrell with a pile of... he was probably to busy planning out his retirement vacation plans...

They were trolling Capper for trolling DT. Its what we do.

Im just ready to see some kind of Tweet from a recruit stating "Offer from UNT #Blessed" or "Coach Littrell visited me today #GMG"

 

That or some coaching hires

i was thinking same exact things.. maybe he is out recruiting coaches?? haha

It's amazing to see how many parents/coaches hit him on Twitter to look at players. I know it's just the coaches and parents doing everything they can to get some under the radar kids the attention they think they need. No way Seth has time to look at/answer all these requests. I wonder if we have someone on staff that monitors this to make sure we are not missing out on any potential recruits. I realize that most of these kids aren't getting many/any FBS offers but I want to make sure we are not missing out on some real candidates. For instance QB Chris Riddle that visited the weekend of the UTEP game hit him up for a follow back. That's a QB I think we should consider.

I wish Riddle the best of luck, but if he doesn't have other D1 offers by now it makes me wonder what recruiters are seeing that prevent them from offering.  I am hoping that Littrell will be landing much higher sought after QBs.

iirc, I had some concerns with his accuracy and velocity, but he showed much improvement between his HS highlights and the Atlanta sports academy highlights. 

Definitely pro-style but I'd still bring him in for competition. I think he could, at minimum, beat out the other walk ons.

Riddle was a Chico guy.  I don't know that he was ever a UNT guy.

Yes I know, but he's a QB, we could use some depth at QB. He's looking to stick somewhere. Worth a walk-on, at least.

      This was so embarrassing. From 5-1 to 5-5 is just unfathomable. And we’ve looked like garbage for most of these losses. I think I’m just over this experiment. I watched the recent Dan Campbell clip where he’s describing his team’s identity, and he references having put “Grit” on the wall as a constant reminder of who/what is at the core of the team’s identity. We completely lack grit. A very soft, sloppy, undisciplined team and program overall. What is North Texas’ program identity? The only thing we appear to excel at is finding new and creatively embarrassing ways to disappoint our fans.

      Helwig had Dickey playing 3 or 4 money games a year which skews his record. Coach Jake refused doing the same in basketball and was fired.

      An Old Fan's Advice To You Young Fans

      Somebody really needs to get a hold of Jared Mosely. All the heat is on Morris when it also needs to be directed on our AD. What is he going to demand from his head football coach? Will he just pat him on the back and say get ‘em next season? Where’s the leadership in this university? Where are the standards to achieve greatness? All I hear are crickets from our athletic department. Really sad.

      Weeks ago, people were saying we’d be undefeated if we also played Army’s schedule. Total nonsense. This is our team…every year! Undisciplined, out of position, bullied, outcoached. Morris is simply unprepared to lead this team with his lack of tactics and expertise. You can get away with it in the lower levels, but not up here. It’s unfortunate we’re stuck with this “what could’ve been” talk for 3 more years.
