No. Interior linemen (in their natural position) are almost always shorter than tackles. Tackles are taller because with height comes length. Tackles need length when protecting the edge.

Why? He was a true freshman who is in his 3rd full year of playing football.  He did not start playing football until he was a Junior in HS.  Also, due to McCarney and Co.'s inability to recruit he was forced to play far to early before he was truly ready.  He could have benefited from a ton of Practice reps vs having to learn as he goes.  I have no doubt he will (in time) become a very good football and an anchor for the left side of the line.  

Really eager to see the football this kid morphs into. ;)

I hope Littrell plays the Oklahoma card with him & convinces him to stay.   Although, if the rumors about KP staying are true, he may leave anyway if his problem was with KP.

I heard that most of the team didnt like the kid and he hasnt been around the team in weeks... i believe it was a current player that posted that.

I saw him in the stands at the homecoming game. That should tell you there are character issues. I don't know why he wouldn't want to be on the sideline supporting his teammates.
