I think it is possible. Chris Davis in his senior year hungry for a NBA shot makes anything possible. I can't remember being this excited about basketball. Possibly when Vic signed that great class awhile back. Now knowing that we have talent and great coaches I feel more secure about our chances.

Just wondering about Justin Barnett. Seems to have grown from a gangly kid to a big, wide body at about 6'11 and 265 or 270. Know he's had some physical problems (stress fractures,etc), but he's had a red-shirt year to study under JJ and hone his skills. Could be a pleasant surprise !

I think Justin can contribute if he can stay healthy. Mike DeGrate should help out big time. I have never seen the other recruits play so I can't comment about their prospects. Sam Byrd seems to have the size if he can get an attitude to go with it. The big area of concern is PG and who knows how well Roninger will make the transition to 1-A.

Future recruiting concern is finding a scoring replacement for Chris Davis. I'm sure JJ and company are looking hard.

Actually they have JJ's replacement already in Leonard Hopkins. Guys he was a fresman last year....Hopkins has scary potential if he stays healthy.

And don't forget about Jermaine Green. He could be a scoring threat as well. I think it would be a nice 1,2,3 punch for Johnny J and Co this upcoming season.

I expect NTU will be one of the more improved teams in the SBC, which means you should be right in the fray in the West.

emmitt01, some of those older posters out there may have a hard time reading the small font you are using. Try a 10 or 12 pt for. Those "older" guys would appreciate it.
