This is his 2nd year there.   If he checks a prospective team's boxes, he'll be a candidate.   He hasn't been in Texas since 2007, but he met all of NT's requirements, apparently.

I think UNT should be on the phone with McNeil right now offering him the HC position, since we have nothing on Littrell right now other than speculation

Littrell wont be able to interview for the job before we offer him our job. So why interview if you dont know your going to get it?

ECU fired Ruffin McNeil in an effort to make the program better. Do you do that by hiring a coordinator or current head coach?

This is a job Briles could be in line for. Venerables from Clemson. Carey at NIU. 

Im not saying that they couldnt call Littrell and say hey come interview, but they arent going to call him and say the job is yours either.
