It's sad and amazing how every team we play slices our 3-2 zone to pieces like hot bread. However, when facing a zone we just pass the ball around the perimeter and take a contested shot. There's no cutting, no flashing, no posting no inside/outside game at all.

Here's a thought, if you suck running a zone, don't run it.  Or at least don't make it your primary defense. Defense is about want to and effort and we saw neither last night.  

Btw, you're a college bb team, practice some damn ft's!

Benford said he cannot pinpoint why his team has been so inconsistent, but said it is something they needed to fix quickly.

“We have to figure it out,” Benford said.

 

The team has been consistently bad since Johnny left. Let's see if we can pinpoint that reason and how to fix it.

I think Benford has improved the talent level with this team.  However, at this point; they are a very bad team.  Benford is not the disaster he once was as a game time coach, but he still has not demonstrated that he can coach at this level.  

I expect Benford to finish out this season, but unless this team gets much better, it should be his last.

This is the same crap as the past three seasons. Poor defense and even worse offense. Benford has to go! Now! Can't take another one of these seasons.
