Today's Media Mania

UNT did a great job yesterday of waiting until very late to deny the Meacham rumors.  It got media all a flutter with contradicting reports all over the place.  The GMG board was flooded with traffic.  It's been awhile since we've had this kind of media coverage.  

I suggest we do something each day this week to keep the twitters twitting and rumors flying.  Here's one suggestion:  

Houston Nutt lives in the area.  Have him come to the Athletic Center for lunch and hang around for about four hours.  Let him watch some workouts and introduce him to some players. When he leaves have RV deny meeting with Nutt even through there are plenty of witnesses and pictures.  This will get DFW media all worked up.  UNT fans will cry and cuss RV.

Kinda sad....   But this has been the most consistent entertainment we have had from this football program since maybe the offseason after the HOD victory?    I hate to say it but despite the anticipation an anxiety I'm enjoying this a little bit.
