I think LSU needs to make the tournament or JJ will have some serious issues.  He may survive anyway given his connections there (plus he somewhat satiated folks with last year's team), but he has a lot of talent this season.

I wouldn't mind JJ to come back. I miss 20 win seasons.

Are there better hires out there for us than JJ?  Serious question. I'll hang up and listen.

I miss even just above .500 ball.

Whats funny is that none of these players would have gone to LSU if it werent for JJ.

You know, this is a decent possibility if LSU gets rid of him.

Maybe this was the conspiracy the whole time:

Let Johnny go pursue his dream.  No one was going to stop him from taking that job.  In the meantime, hire the clown show director to mess up the good thing he built here.   Johnny runs into issues at a football-crazed school and gets canned.  Opens up his photo album and gets misty-eyed at the championships he won here at NT.  Sees what we've become, and can't stand it.  Gets in his car and drives up to Denton, kicks down RV's door and demands his old position back.  RV consults with Ernie, Ernie pays for everything.  JJ is back in Green with a boatload of scholarships to dole out for the 2016-17 season.

Jones is recruiting as well as anyone in the nation except the super elite.  However, the results closely resemble his NT teams who were a little better than .500 in conference.  If he can get the team peaked for post season like at NT, they may endure his lackluster regular season performances.

Still fanning that flame, I see.  I would recommend some lotion and an old program with her picture.

All history with Aston aside, is it really so bad that someone follows a successful coach or player that used to be here?

No, not really, but I find it funny when other people claim they also like UT FFR refers to them as bootlickers.  Yet, here he is drooling over everything Aston does every chance he gets.

I feel like Johnny did this at UNT though as well- he overperformed when his team was supposed to underperform, and he underperformed when his team had high expectations.

Come back, Johnnie, and curb-stomp the pretender to your throne.
