Cheerwine = acquired taste

Yes, I wasn't really impressed.

You can also just get it at most Spec's - might want to call and check first though. I know the Plano one had it a few years back before I moved.

You hear that @TheWestie?

Thanks - didn't realize I responded to the wrong person, but I agree it is an acquired taste. My aunt and uncle met at Wake Forest and go back often, so it became common enough at family events growing up to make an impression.

I do think Cheerwine is better than that awful Big Red stuff I used to see in Denton!

Wait - there are people above the age of 13 that drink Big Red?

Big Red is awesome because it's almost all sugar.  Cheerwine is ... not.  In my family of five I have one that kinda likes it ... but she also likes vinegar chips so she's weird.

I'm not the demo - can't do sugary sodas at all except in really small doses. If I told you the bulk of my  last 15 years of experience was putting cheap whiskey or moonshine into diet cheerwine to fit in with these mountain, pork loving folks, does that help or hurt my case?

@Cerebus, apparently he needs a picture/gif with more knee-slapping and less teeth.

Hell, they got Cheerwine at Rudy's near Teasley and at Atomic Candy on the Square and the Cracker Barrell. All in glass bottles though, not cans or 2 liters.
