UTEP vs. UNT 2015 Game Thread

0-0 1st quarter.  McNulty at QB.  Tried to run in 1st series and tried to pass in 2nd.  Punts after the both of them.  So far has the makings of a defensive struggle.

UTEP starting to own the line of scrimmage.  Doesn't bode well.

6-3 UTEP takes the lead.  Just running it down our throat now.

Just a fabulous punt return for a TD by Trae Johnson!  10-6 UNT takes lead.  

For no explainable reason Chico puts Greer in the game deep in UTEP territory and he immediately throws a pick six.  UTEP takes the lead 13-10 in the 3rd quarter.

Courtney Finney scoops up a lateral pass by UTEP and runs it in for a UNT TD.  17-13 UNT.  Sean Kugler looks like his head is fixing to explode.

I can't say it looks like our offense wants to win this, but I can say theirs want to lose it. BAD. 5-7 might go bowling this year. Looks like they want to avoid that at all costs.

That's exactly how I feel.  Neither group of players and neither coach gives an iota of a shit. They're just getting this done and over with.  Canales to move on, the UTEP guy, I really don't know.

After a terrible Carlos Harris penalty, UNT drive comes up short on 4th with an incomplete pass to Marcus Smith.  UTEP now has the ball and the lead with 3:33 left in the 4th quarter up 20-17.
