Texas ties. From a school that is all over everyone's radar. Already mentioned as a potential candidate. I'll take Meacham.

Any except Cumbie I am good with all three of these guys.  I like Applewhite, because he has just experienced helping a bad Houston team re ignite quickly.  I like Meacham because he has success everywhere he goes.  I like Littrell because he is a great mind, and can recruit kids to play where the academics could severely hinder his ability to get kids in.

Since exactly zero names have been definitively associated to this coaching search, I'm going dark horse -- Al Borges because hey, why the hell not?  I'm throwing virtual interwebs darts at the wall here, and I'm beginning to think I wouldn't do any worse.

Of those 4, I think Meacham makes the most sense. 27 years of coaching experience, OC at 6 different colleges, and  should have a lot of recruiting ties in Texas and Oklahoma.

Of the 4 I would go Meachum, Christina Applegate, Cumbie and Lettrell, but I prefer Jinks.

Littrell or Meacham are the most realistic choices. And I think both will be better than anything we have had in years

Im in this boat, but I lean more towards Applewite because he is a bit more proven as a recruiter and  younger. Either hire would make me very happy.
