I wish Chico could have gone out on a better note, but I believe he will find what he is looking for elsewhere. As for those fans and Alums left here in the Mean Green Nation, time to write a new Book. Chapter One, Out of the Shadows. Our future is no longer about just about winning, it's about becoming more. We have the chance again to show the country that athletics matter in Denton Texas. The road from obscurity to relevance is uneven, rocky, and littered with failures, but many have done it in spite of what is said or written. Coach Chico learned the hard way that a resurrection of this magnitude takes more than time? The new head coach will inherit a Rubik's Cube, each side with a different challenge. I hope he believes he can do it here because other programs have done it, regardless of what people say or think?
