Erick Evans was just named Adidas OVC newcomer of the week.

He had 111 yards rushing with 2 TDs and 57 yards receiving Saturday for Tennessee State.

As a freshman for UNT last year, he had 204 yards on 24 carries.

He fumbled in one game (I think maybe UAB, where everyone was falling apart), and never saw the field again.  Mac didn't like mistakes.

I sensed it, sure. But I throw my Mccarney jabs anywhere I can get them in because he threw every single one of us off a bridge. The humor in his, "this is only the beginning" keeps me slightly grounded because he somewhat was telling the truth. Sort of.

Heck, he wanted to be here.  I don't know what was worse with Mac, the recruiting, or the inability to retain and develop players like him.
