Too many variables to figure out.  A new coach alone can surprise some teams and get a win or two for that alone.  If a new coach brings in a solid 5th year transfer quarterback things could change considerably.

Personally I think the departure of Cosh is worth a couple of wins in itself.

i guess what worries me is how this team has quit on itself.

The right new coach can do wonders, like one that can actually coach a QB and help them develop instead of budding up to them with a bunch of hype.

And chico leaving should get us another 2, so that could be 4 wins just by getting rid of the coaching staff.

After a 2-1 start, the rest of the season hinges on the injury report coming out of Gainesville.

Chico needs to remind all potential returning players that scholarships are renewed each year. If as SouthSideGuy has said some players have quit.  The film of the UTEP game may well be an audition for the new coaching staff when renewal time comes.
