Dajon could've been okay. He had good talent, but I don't think he had anywhere close to what it took to save a sinking ship like this. There's a reason we were his only FBS offer. Sadly, he may have still been the best high school QB signed under Mccarney.

I'm with the masses....Dajon needed to put the work in. Sounds like he thought his talent alone would generate success. You would think that receiving only 1 FBS offer would've driven him to be the best and prove the others wrong, but apparently that wasn't the case. Too bad, as he was exciting to watch at times and there were definite flashes of potential.

I went to Birmingham last year.  I was over him when he was removed from the game, put a towel over his head, and pouted on the bench.  He made zero effort to be part of the team after he was replaced.  He had a lot of growing up to do and, just like Jim Jim, came across as selfish.  He would not have made any difference this year.
