UNT treated our game like their Super Bowl and played over their heads, obviously. Kinda sucks since UNT would've probably gone down as the worst FBS team of all-time otherwise. Worth it if it saves Ricky V's job though.

I'm sure I'm one of many who don't really care about UTSA or Texas State. If those are what you aspire to, just remember that your team lost to our worst team ever this year. All that amounts to is 1 win for us and 1 loss for you, this year.

UNT really wanted that W because nutsack was our best shot at a W this year. We are really bad. Like, really bad. This should tell you where your program is and what everyone here really thinks of it. I am afforded the right to talk shit to a fan of another school while crouching on a 1-10 record. Pretty funny, actually.

I think it's pretty clear that RV will be the AD here, no matter what happened in that game. I'm just glad y'all had your 4th and 5th string QBs out there.

That win over y'all just made sure that our worst ever team in our history didn't go winless. So thanks for being an even bigger spare than you already are, by losing to us. If we hire any coach worth his salt, he will tell every recruit out there that our worst team ever still beat y'all this year, which is the opposite of when your coaches told recruits that in our best year in a long time in 2013, we still got beat at home by y'all, costing us the conference division title...and our recruiting followed suit after this.

However, after attending the UNT@SMU game this year I believe a lot more of their fans hate us than you think. Them hating us is good for business. Same can be said for nutsack, hate on.

Rice fan here. A vast majority of our message board wants Bailiff gone. Hasn't shown he can be a consistent contender in C-USA and people believe that a coach as tenured as he is (and as well paid as he is compared to other G5 coaches) cannot afford to be missing bowls or showing a decline in performance the way Rice has since 2013. Not that we expect to walk away with a conference championship every year, but to be the 100th ranked team or whatever in Sagarin's rankings has blown some gaskets. Problem is, our school is cheap as shit when it comes to ponying up big bucks for football coaches. Can't really tap endowment and our president still seems reluctant to embrace athletics to increase the branding and notoriety of Rice. Bailiff's contract runs through 2018 season, so we'd likely have a $1.5mm+ buyout to conjure up in order to get rid of Bailiff now.

Anyways, just some color from our side. Good luck with your head coaching search.
