Would a coach be willing to accept and we willing to offer a heavily incentivized contract?

Like....

Base $400k

$50k per win up to 6

$100k per win over 6

$200k extra for conference championship

$200k extra for top 25 appearance

$200k for bowl win

With a contract like the above, we would be out a max of $2 million if the coach all won 12 games, the conference championship game, a bowl game and appeared in the top 25.

A season like 2015 would only cost us $450-$500k. Sounds good to me.

Chances are pretty good that I or someone like me would jump all over an offer like this because...well, you know why because.
But, a reasonably hot applicant? Not so much.
