I've been trying to find a way to pick up the game against MTSU next weekend.  All signs point toward it not happening.   Our athletic site and MTSU's site both only show that the game will be on the American Sports Network and no streaming options.  Unfortunately, it looks like no one is picking it up locally.   When I enter DFW zip codes into the American Sports Network websites, I receive a message stating that the game is unavailable in our area.   I would try one of those shady hit-or-miss websites, but I don't want to gamble for a watch party.

Anyone heard or seen anything to the contrary?

The game is televised. However, no local station has decided to pick it up.

The lack of interest can be blamed squarely on the state of the football program under RV's leadership.

Cool.   So is RV responsible for the interest driving the game's availability in South Bend, Indiana?

Most, if not all of those stations are owned by Sinclair Broadcasting, who runs ASN and other stations that have picked up the entire package of ASN games for the year. The game is available on a one-off basis to other stations should they choose to pick it up.

No, more likely a lack of broadcast options there.

I know it's not on in the home market of a team that has at least a couple hundred thousand alumni.

No, it is for the benefit of my kin who didn't have the good sense to come to Texas 52 years ago, like me.

BTW, do you think I don't catch a ration of $chidt at the annual family reunion?

There are many things to complain about with UNT football, but TV coverage for me isn't one of them. I live Corpus, and I have been able to watch every game except one on TV (and that one was available on CBS College Sports Live). I do have to pay for the higher tier sports package on Directv, but it is totally worthy it.
